Frequently asked questions
How do I skip the cover and start numbering at 1?+
Set the page range to the body pages, such as 2-10, and set the starting number to 1. An unselected cover page does not count toward the numbering.
What does the denominator in fraction style mean?+
The denominator is the last assigned number. Three selected pages starting at 1 display 1 / 3 through 3 / 3. Starting at 5 displays 5 / 7 through 7 / 7.
Will this replace existing page numbers?+
No. The tool adds new page numbers. Check their position in the preview to avoid overlapping existing content.
